2017 brings lots of changes. This summer I am often at sea alone. Although unintentional I come to really like it. Unforgettable is the long sailing day from Siracusa to Licata downwind in a strong Grecale in bright sunshine and 30 degrees. 108 nautical miles or 200 kilometers, the longest single-handed stretch in a single day I have completed.
In between I also enjoy time with friends and family aboard on a route from the south of France to Tunisia, Pantelleria, Malta, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, and back to the Camargue.
